Course Description
Students will be able to:
- Deduce the differential equations for a family of curves or surfaces solve first-order quasi-linear partial differential equations.
- Recognize characteristic curves and canonical forms for second-order partial differential equations.
- Apply the Fourier transform to solve boundary value problems.
