Course Descrition
Students will be able to:
- Determine the geometric transformation of given functions.
- Find images and pre- images of given geometric objects to the various transformations.
- Find transformation equation by knowing the elements and vice versa. Classification ofIsometriesfromequationsor properties.
- Determine the conditions ofsimilaritytransformation, and know their properties, equationsand kinds.
- Know the definition, properties, equations of Affine transformation. Determine the terms of remittances, which represents Affine transformation. Discrimination between the studied transformations (Isometry, similarity and Affine) and determine what is not of them.
- Perform calculations accurately and quickly, andverify that the results are acceptable or unacceptable.
- Find a correlation between the geometric properties of transformation and
- algebraic equation.
