The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a multidisciplinary unit that provides care for infants up to 13 years old who are critically ill or injured that needs specialized care and advance treatments, special monitoring and around the clock observation by the specially trained medical team. PICU has the 10 bed capacity and 3 negative pressure Isolation Rooms.

A multidisciplinary team available 24/7 composes of pediatric physician (intensivist), pediatric residents, nurses and allied medical care professionals who have the knowledge, skill and judgment to quickly assess and treat children so he/she can achieve the best outcomes possible from critical illness or injury.

PICU have the people, the expertise, the experience, and the state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to provide the highest level of care for a wide range of complex, and sometimes rapidly changing, medical problems. This includes after-surgery care for all pediatric surgical procedures.
